George Levine

George Levine è Professor Emeritus alla Rutgers University e Distinguished Scholar in Residence presso la New York University. Ha fondato e diretto il Rutgers Center for Cultural Analysis e diretto la rivista interdisciplinare Victorian Studies. Ha pubblicato diversi libri, fra i quali The Realistic Imagination (Chicago 1981), Dying to Know: Scientific Narrative and Epistemology in Victorian England (Chicago 2002), Darwin and the Novelists (Harvard 1988) e Darwin Loves You. Natural Selection and the Re-enchantment of the World, tradotto in italiano nel 2009 da Aboca Edizioni.
